Stripe Receipts

We’ve partnered with Stripe for storage and processing of credit cards within TourBuzz. Once you charge a customer for a tour or photos, a receipt is emailed to them confirming the payment. You can customize the email preferences, the receipt, and resend the receipt directly through Stripe.

Email Preferences

You can customize your receipts to reflect your company information, logo, and color. But first, you'll want to make sure your email settings are set properly. To do this, log into your Stripe account, go to Account Settings, then emails on the far right.

Here you can select who receives emails and when.

Customize Receipts

Now that your email preferences are set, you can customize the way your receipt will look. To do this, log into your Stripe account, go to Account Settings, click on the General tab on the far left, then click Public Info.

Here you can edit the name that will appear on the receipt emails, your website, and the Statement Descriptor (what will appear on your customer's credit card statement).

You can also upload your logo and change the background color for the receipt. Once you've made your changes, you can send a test email to confirm you are happy with what it looks like, then click Done at the bottom.

Resend Receipts

Within in Stripe, you can resend receipts if necessary. To do this, log into your Stripe account, click Customers on the left, then click on the customer you need to resend a receipt to.

Scroll down to the payments section and click "View All Payments."

Finally, click on the payment, scroll to Receipt History, and click Send Receipt.
